Independent Survey Shows Franchise Owners Are Highly Satisfied with Assisted Living Locators' Performance


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Assisted Living Locators was recently named a top franchise by Franchise Business Review in its 2017 Top Franchises Report.


Assisted Living Locators offers “free service” for seniors and their families providing expert advice on short-term and long-term care options including in-home care, assisted living, memory care and retirement apartments. It generates revenue from the fees paid by the assisted living facilities per placement and from in-home care referrals.

In 2016, the company exceeded its 50th franchise mark. The milestone comes off of consecutive years of positive growth trends since the company first began franchising in 2006 as the first placement and referral franchise business in the U.S. The company has now signed 62 franchisees in 20 states and the District of Columbia.

Assisted Living Locators was among 334 franchise brands, representing over 30,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research, which was conducted between May 2015 and November 2016. Assisted Living Locators franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions in the areas of financial opportunity, training and support, leadership, operations and product development, core values (e.g., honesty and integrity of franchisor), general satisfaction, and the franchisee community. An additional 16 questions asked franchisees about their market area, demographics, business lifestyle, overall enjoyment running their franchise, and role in the franchisee community.

  • 88% are satisfied with their franchisor and the opportunity provided
  • 81% would recommend their franchise brand to others
  • 60% agree or strongly agree that their financial expectations are being met
